Sunflowers Are Back!

Sunflowers are everywhere in Texas.   This is one of the more expressive flowers and the challenge is to communicate the emotions of their many faces in new and unique ways.
Infrared photography  changes the ordinary into  something extraordinary. This also  gives us something new to do with our older digital cameras…. convert them to infrared.   Combine the infrared  images with a little Photoshop and explore the possibilities.

Swan Babies

A baby swan is called a cygnet (sig-net).  I just got around to posting images from earlier this spring.  These photos were taken at the  pond outside of  the Carrollton, Texas, Library on Keller Springs Road west of Josey Lane.
